Sue Foster Interiors began life in 1977 when Sue Foster opened “Sue Foster fabrics” a shop in Portsmouth selling designer fabrics. In the 180s, Sue moved the business to Emsworth, setting up shop in a number of locations in the town centre, before moving into Queen Street in 2001.
In 2006 Chris Gorton and Vicky Lee-Gorton bought the business from Sue upon her retirement, when they moved back to the UK after various overseas postings with Vicky’s role in the Diplomatic Service.
The business quickly expanded and we took on a team of in-house curtain makers to ensure a consistency of quality curtain making services, and in 2018 we opened a lovely showroom space alongside our workrooms in Emsworth Yacht Harbour overlooking the boats with distant harbour views.
The ethos at the heart of Sue Foster Interiors has always been to provide our customers with an exceptional personal experience; quality hand-made products with excellent value for money. We pride ourselves on giving the best possible advice, expertise and service, regardless of order size or value.
The team is small but perfectly formed with a wealth of knowledge and experience about all aspects of soft furnishings. Find out more about our team below….
